Mikhail Kornievsky
Ecological Land Management Specialist
Mikhail Kornievsky is a botanist, regenerative agriculture consultant, and ecological land management specialist with over 15 years of experience in plant science, sustainable agriculture, and tropical horticulture. He is the founder of Jaidee Agriculture, a consultancy based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, dedicated to restoring ecosystems, improving agricultural productivity, and helping clients build resilient, regenerative landscapes.
Mikhail earned his Bachelor of Science in Botany from San Francisco State University, where he developed a strong foundation in plant physiology, taxonomy, ecology, soil science, and conservation biology. His career has combined scientific knowledge with extensive hands-on experience across California and Thailand, working with tropical crops, ecological restoration, plant propagation, and sustainable production systems.
His expertise includes regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, syntropic farming, permaculture design, tropical horticulture, soil biology, compost systems, soil restoration, native habitat reforestation, integrated pest and disease management, tissue culture, plant propagation, seed conservation, and ecological landscape design. He also advises commercial growers, landowners, and organizations on high-value crop production, sustainable farm development, and long-term land stewardship.
Mikhail believes healthy ecosystems are the foundation of successful agriculture. Rather than relying on extractive practices, his approach focuses on rebuilding soil fertility, increasing biodiversity, conserving water, and designing systems that become more productive and resilient over time. Every recommendation is grounded in scientific principles while remaining practical, cost-effective, and tailored to local conditions.
Through Jaidee Agriculture, Mikhail works with homeowners, farmers, developers, businesses, schools, and community organizations to transform degraded land into productive farms, edible forests, educational gardens, and thriving natural ecosystems. His mission is to bridge the gap between modern plant science and regenerative land management, empowering people to cultivate landscapes that benefit both people and the planet for generations to come.
